September Update!

I haven't done a blog post in a while so let's catch up!

A lot has happened the past few months. I've been to concerts, Disneyland, Universal Hollywood, then to Disney World and Universal Orlando. Good news is I won't be traveling for a little while.

Just to post a little more about myself personally, in July I saw my favorite Kpop group FINALLY! If you follow me on Instagram you'll see a lot of the music I have with my posts are Kpop. Anyways, here is my outfit that I spent way too long bedazzling.

Some MAJOR NEWS!!! When I was at work one day I go a DM from one of my amazing customers. I didn't think anything of it, but then I saw the message. She said she wore my Camp Demigod Ears to D23 (Disney Convention) and got to meet the cast with them on!!! I was in shock to say the least. When I saw the photos I started to tear up. Never in my life did I think something like this would happen. Percy Jackson has been a big part of my life for about 10 years. I love making ears for stuff I love and seeing everyone love them too warms my heart. Then seeing the people who have brought the books to life like my ears, asking for my NAME??? Unbelievable... This was definitely the highlight of my year for my shop.

I went to Disneyland finally able to show off the new Halloween Ears. In the 4 years I've had this shop I've never officially made Halloween Ears. Which is really surprising since it's my favorite holiday. Funny story with the Candy Pumpkin Ears, Trick r Treat is one of my favorite halloween movies. I have a fake Sam Lollipop in my kitchen for decor. I was trying to think of some spooky designs when I saw it and knew I had to make it into a pair of ears. It's one of those designs that if you know you know.

Going to Disney World was a blast! Even though it was hot, humid, rainy...... it was still lots of fun. I finally got to go on Tron with my Grid Ears which got lots of heads turning. I even got recognized by a cast member which was very weird for me. I was really excited to wear my Imagination Ears to Epcot since Figment is one of my favorite characters. We were bummed that we were just missing a festival, but still had a great time.

Christmas time is just around the corner already. I'm working on a few designs but in the meantime, the Killer Wreath Ears will make their annual return this week. More information on that on my Instagram!

I hope all of you have an AMAZING day! Stay safe and as always if you have any questions you can contact me here, Instagram, or via email captainearo@gmail.com
